bdev:wash_dry_pipette_ejection

This describes how to install modules for washing pipettes (so that they can be reused) and how pipettes are ejected so that more can be reloaded. To do this two “shelves” are installed the top one is used to position these modules and the bottom one is used to position a waste container (for collected ejected tips).

To set up these 2 shelves:

  1. HFS5-2020-592-TPW (2 units)
  2. tslot20innerbracket() (4 units)

The wash/dry station consists of 3 3D printed parts

Assembled 3D module

washbowl8tip_lid_tipremoval.jscad Project: labbotbuild

washbowl_8tip_base() washbowl_8tip_base.stl

This needs to be printed at a higher infill (like 70%) to prevent leakage or you can spray it with flex seal or similar silicon waterproofing coating.

washbowl_8tip() washbowl_8tip.stl

This connects to the extrusion

washbowl_8tip_drypad() washbowl_8tip_drypad.stl

The pipette ejection plate currently comes in two sizes (p200 and p20). So they are interchangeable.

multichannel_drypad()

multichannel_tipremoval()
